The government adopted a bill on special solutions in the field of recognition of matters regarding loan agreements denominated or indexed to the Swiss franc – announced in Tuesday's communiqué.

It was stated that the purpose of the new regulations is to accelerate franc proceedings and reduce the burden of courts.

The new regulations will cover civil matters between consumers and banks regarding loans and loans indexed or denominated to CHF and contracts transformed by annexes into loans valorized to CHF. The regulations will also apply to the heirs of the consumer, people who joined the debt or guaranteed his repayment, persons who are responsible for the debt. The final decision on the application of the provisions in a given case will be made by the court.
