A month ago, the president vetoed the amendment to the act, which, among others She deleted the need to reserve the transmission capacity on the interconnector in the case of maintaining gas reserves abroad. – The vetoed act had provisions that were dangerous from the point of view of the energy security of the state, i.e. allowed to store gas outside the country to a wider extent – said the head of the president's office. He noted that after “vetoing the government of Doland Tusk, he was forced to change the records so that they would allow extending the possibility of storage of gas by the government agency of strategic reserves”.

Pursuant to the Act, the Government Strategic Reserve Agency (RARS) will be able to testify to the so -called The ticket service for gas importers a year longer, i.e. until September 30, 2026, current regulations, allowing RARS to provide such a service, expire on September 30 this year. The ticket service consists in the fact that the gas importer, instead of maintaining the mandatory supplies provided for on the act, is ordered for the appropriate RARS fee.

The act also includes the provisions on maintaining mandatory oil and fuel reserves. According to current regulations, fuel and oil reserves are enough for 90 days of average daily production or import, with some of them maintaining as the so -called RARS agency reserves, and the rest of importers or producers in a certain proportion. Importers and producers must currently maintain wrestling for 53 days of medium production or import. The Act assumes that an increasing part of this obligation will take over RARS, and the level of importers' obligation will fall: up to 50 days from the entry into force of the Act, to 47 days from June 30, 2026, and to 45 days from June 30, 2027 (PAP)
