Revolting details appear in the case of the crime in Mureș county. Anda Gyurca, the woman killed with the ax and burned by Emil Gânj, a recidivist who had an arrest warrant on his behalf, would have been the victim of police abuse. Record publishes the audio recording of an appeal to 112 given by the victim's father, who shows how the police managed this case before committing the crime.

“In February 2025, the young woman was kidnapped and held in the forest by the one who would kill her a few months later. The girl then managed to escape from his hands, but the police, instead of being concerned to catch the kidnapper, put pressure on the woman to claim that, in the 28th, it was not a day. He threatens him: if the accusations regarding the “colleagues” of the police are not confirmed, then he will receive the maximum fine for the abusive appeal of the Emergency Service, “writes Recorder on Tuesday.

“I am the father of Andea Maria, who was disappeared. I understood that my daughter is taken at the Police Station Sărmașu and she is harassed by your colleagues, that is, by the people of the law, to say that she was not abducted,” the victim's father announced, according to the record broadcast by Recorder.

The operator from 112 sends him that in this case he can file a complaint in court, but also warns him that if the accusations are not confirmed, the fine could reach 4,000 lei. “We are assuming with my daughter, we assume if that is the sum,” the father replies.

The rhetoric of the policemen, also taken over at the peak of May

The victim's parents say that the whole ordeal began in February, after the girl was abducted by Emil Gânj, and later managed to escape. The family claims that it was necessary to call 112 to advertise one of the police: the latter would have pressed the girl to declare that he was an accomplice to the kidnapper and that he helped to escape.

The young woman would have even filed a complaint against the policeman Bogdan Roșiu, who coordinated the searches of Emil Gânj.

After receiving desperate messages from his daughter, at the police station for statements, Tiberiu Gyurca called 112, he says, to save his daughter this time from the hands of investigators.

The rhetoric of the investigators was taken even at the top of the Ministry of Interior, immediately after the crime, Recorder recalls. Cătălin Predoiu said that the killer managed to escape, although he was sought from February when he kidnapped the girl, because the victim helped.

Andei's mother says that during the investigation, the people of the law seemed to protect Emil Gânj more than the girl. The so-called guard at the victim's gate, most of the times, meant an empty car or policemen. When the woman called 112 to say she was afraid for her daughter's life, she was threatened to be fined.

In a point of view for Recorder, the Mureș County Police Inspectorate states that there were no pressure on the victim to raise the protection during the day, and the existence of a call to 112 on February 28, when the young woman was in police custody, cannot be confirmed because “the publication of the information could affect the investigation or the safety of some people”.
