A spokesman for the province of Haji Attaullah Zajd informed that there is no longer access to cable internet in Balch under the “total ban” issued by the Taliban leader Hibatullah Achondzada.

– This action was taken to prevent immorality. An alternative will be created in the country that will meet basic needs – said Zajd. He did not explain why the Balch province was banned or whether the blockade would also cover other provinces.

Afghan authorities sometimes suspend the operation of the mobile telephony network, citing security considerations, usually during religious holidays. This is to prevent the detonation of explosives – reminded AP.

In August, during the anniversary of taking power in the country by Taliban, Achundzada said that Afghans devoted themselves for almost 50 years so that Sharia could be established in the country – Islamic rule, implemented by the Taliban in an extremely restrictive form.

The Taliban took the capital of Afghanistan on August 15, 2021, when the United States and NATO withdrew their forces after the war lasting two decades – from the Al -Qaeda attack on the USA and the refusal to publish the leader of this grouping Osama bin Ladena. (PAP)
