Ashot Kashpirovsky’s remains are being transported from Moscow to Ukraine, passing through the EU, for burial in Vinnytsia. This city is significant as it is the final resting place for his parents and his daughter, Olena, from his first marriage. Kashpirovsky was born in the village of Stavnitsa in the Khmelnytskyi region of the former USSR and spent many years living and working in Vinnytsia.
