According to PB.pl, recently Kam Ghaffarian visited Poland, but his visit went without much publicity. However, reports about the businessman's meetings with representatives of the Polish government and the interview, which was given by Polsat News, aroused interest. According to media accounts, Ghaffarian talked, among others with the Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on the construction of a space station and the potential participation of Polish companies in this ambitious project.
Unofficial sources say that one of the key points of the Kama Ghaffiarian visit in Poland was a meeting with Zygmunt Solor. According to PB.pl, The talks took place thanks to Przemysław Sęczykowski, a close associate of Solorz, who has been maintaining good relations with an American entrepreneur for years. Sęczykowski is currently sitting on the supervisory boards of the PAK group companies, and previously he performed managerial functions at Asseco Poland and the Arka Gdynia club.
Backstage of conversations and possible investment
According to pb.pl, three independent, although unofficial sources confirm that Zygmunt Solorz and Kam Ghaffarian have been conducting talks about joint ventures for a long time. Their effect is to be the entrance of the Polish billionaire to Axiom Space. The details of the planned investment, however, are closely guarded, and people around Solorz are reluctant to comment on the matter.
According to one of the sources, Solorz has long considered working with Ghaffarian in the context of new projects. Another interlocutor from the circle of billionaire friends emphasizes that Solorz is not afraid to invest in new industries and diversify his business portfolio, an example of which was his entry into the telecommunications sector.
If there is a finalization, the investment in Axiom Space will be the largest foreign undertaking of Zygmunt Solorz. Unlike existing projects, this time the businessman engages his private property, which is not subject to the control of the TIVI and Solkomtel Foundation. Since August last year, Solorz has been disputable for power over these assets with his children.
Axiom Space – leader of commercial space exploration
Axiom Space is an American company founded in 2016, which specializes in the development of space technologies and commercial flights to orbit. The company organizes, among others Missions for an international space station, in which the Polish astronaut Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski also participated. The company's plans include the construction of a private orbital station, which will initially be connected to the ISS, and then start functioning independently. Axiom Space also works on modern space suit.

The company's value is estimated at approx. USD 2 billion, and its main investors are Venture Capital and Private Equity funds. The last round of financing, which took place in March, was run by the 1789 Capital fund, in which the partner is Donald Trump Jr., son of the President of the United States.
