Putin Rejects Ceasefire Proposal for Long-Range Strikes in Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday dismissed the notion of a mutual ceasefire regarding long-range strikes with Ukraine, which have intensified in recent months. This response came following proposals put forth by Kyiv and Washington, according to reports from AFP.
Putin stated, “We are told: ‘If they stop hitting your refineries, you will stop as well.’ However, we do not threaten anyone; we respond accordingly.” His comments indicate a firm stance against any halting of military operations, further escalating tensions in the ongoing conflict.
