Ukraine’s passport services will be unavailable from September 28 to 30 due to technical malfunctions reported by the State Migration Service (DMS). The DMS announced that access to some of its information and telecommunications systems is temporarily limited due to issues with the communication operator’s equipment that supports these systems.
Additionally, the official DMS website will also be down during the repair period.

- Russian military forces have been increasingly targeting infrastructure related to telecommunications companies. On September 25, the Datagroup data center was struck, followed by reports of attacks on the Cosmonova data center, leading to temporary broadcast halts for several TV channels. Residents of Kyiv and other areas have been warned about potential internet disruptions.
- However, presidential advisor on technological defense development, Serhiy Beskrestnov, assured that the internet in Ukraine will remain operational due to its distributed infrastructure.
