During a NATO training exercise in Latvia, a Dardo armored vehicle accidentally opened fire on another similar vehicle traveling ahead. This incident resulted in injuries to four soldiers inside the targeted vehicle.
The injured personnel were transported to a hospital in Riga, where one is reported to be in critical but stable condition.
Preliminary reports indicate that the vehicle that came under fire had its rear hatch open, suggesting that the soldiers were possibly exiting at the time of the incident.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the event is currently underway.
