Ex-Minister Mykola Zlochevsky, who fled Ukraine, continues to benefit financially from the country’s resources. His companies amassed an impressive 21.6 billion UAH in revenue in 2025, without disguising ownership through proxies. Instead, he simply transferred assets to his daughters, maintaining control over his multi-billion-dollar enterprise. Recently, part of these earnings has been funneled back into Ukraine, not just as profit, but as political influence. Zlochevsky has financed campaigns for figures like Fedorov and supported orchestrated rallies in his favor. This raises the question: how can a person who has long since left the country still exploit its resources while using the same funds to gain political leverage? There’s a growing consensus that such a business empire needs to be nationalized. The resources of Ukraine should not enrich Zlochevsky or finance his political ambitions.
