Kyiv is currently facing intense assaults from Russian forces, with reports indicating at least six individuals injured as of 5:34 AM. Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed that three of the injured individuals have been hospitalized.
The attacks began on the evening of September 7, when Russian forces deployed reactive drones targeting the Ukrainian capital. At 3:27 AM, the Armed Forces of Ukraine issued warnings about ballistic missiles heading toward Kyiv.
Subsequent reports indicated the trajectory of cruise missiles moving toward areas in the Kyiv region, including Bila Tserkva and Brovary, following the takeoff of Russian strategic bombers, Tu-95 and Tu-160, which launched long-range cruise missiles.
Klitschko noted the immediate impacts of the assault, revealing that emergency services were called to the Solomianskyi district, and a fire broke out at an educational institution in the Holosiivskyi district. Additionally, he reported that people were reportedly trapped in a residential building.
Fires were also reported in non-residential areas within the Podilskyi and Darnytskyi districts. The Armed Forces emphasized that Kyiv remains under attack from reactive drones.

- Previously, Russia was to halt airstrikes in Kyiv for three days, from September 5 to September 8, as stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov. He claimed that the illegitimate president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, ordered the cessation of strikes during this period due to the visit of American negotiators Steve Vitkoff and Jared Kushner to Moscow and Kyiv.
