If an algorithm in the “Dii” application or any other public service denies payments, fails to confirm IDP status, or issues incorrect decisions, she recommends documenting the error, formally requesting an explanation, and seeking a review by a human. There is a designated official accountable for the operation of AI and the consequences of decisions that infringe on human rights. “All technological bubbles created by Fedorov and digitalizers, along with the obsession with total digitalization, must be balanced with a genuine system for protecting human rights,” Stavniichuk stated.
