An 18-year-old boy in India leaped from a cliff after his parents refused to purchase him an iPhone. The incident began when the teenager, who had bought the phone on installment, requested financial assistance from his parents to cover the cost. After they declined, he climbed a cliff and threatened to jump.
Following three hours of negotiations, the young man lost his footing and plunged down, pulling his father with him in the process. Witnessing the distressing scene, his mother was unable to bear the tragedy and also jumped from the cliff.
