Raul Rotund Joins Concordia Chiajna After Leaving Dinamo

Raul Rotund, a 20-year-old forward, has officially joined Concordia Chiajna after parting ways with Dinamo this summer. Chiajna currently occupies second place in Liga 2, having secured 9 points from three matches.
Rotund’s departure from Dinamo followed a mutual agreement to terminate his contract. He has been welcomed warmly by his new club, with a statement saying, “Welcome, Raul Rotund!”
The young attacker brings experience from both the Superliga and Liga 2, and he has participated in international matches for Romania’s U20 team. Throughout his career, Rotund has played for clubs including Universitatea Cluj, CSC 1599 Șelimbăr, Unirea Slobozia, and ASA Târgu Mureș.
Concordia Chiajna expressed their enthusiasm for Rotund’s signing and wished him success in their jersey. He was previously brought to Dinamo from U Cluj and had a notable season at Șelimbăr, where he gained valuable playing time.
Despite only logging 53 minutes across four matches at Dinamo, where he struggled to make an impact, he is valued at around 200,000 euros by specialist websites. Rotund has also played for Romania’s U19 and U20 national teams.
In addition to Rotund, Concordia Chiajna has confirmed two other significant signings, introducing Gabi Iancu, a former player for FCSB and Farul Constanța, and George Ganea, who has had stints with teams such as Rapid, CFR Cluj, and FC Argeș.
