PSG and Kylian Mbappe, endless war » 515 million euros are now at stake

The dispute between PSG and Kylian Mbappe has entered the next phase. The conflict escalated and the sums requested as compensations reached spectacular heights.
Since his departure to Real Madrid in 2024, Kylian Mbappe and PSG have been in constant conflict. The club cannot accept that they have lost him for free, the player demands that he be paid outstanding amounts.
PSG is asking Kylian Mbappe for 180 million euros in damages
More recently, PSG is asking its former super striker for damages of 180 million euros. He accuses him of breaching contractual commitments, going behind the club's back and breaching the good faith that should govern the relationship between a club and its star player.
The context? In the summer of 2023 – a year before Mbappé left Paris for Real Madrid on a free transfer – the France international (94 caps) received an offer from Al Hilal.
PSG had an offer of 300 million for Kylian Mbappe from Al Hilal!
The Saudi club was willing to pay 300 million euros for the striker at the time – PSG's lawyers revealed on Monday before the Paris District Court. However, Mbappé rejected the offer and Paris were left empty-handed and now consider themselves “financially affected” and seeking compensation.
In the fall of 2024, Mbappé claimed his turn 55 million euros from PSG, claiming this amount as “overdue wages and bonuses”. At the time, Mbappé won the case at the Sports Court.
Kylian Mbappe hits back with a barrage of claims
More recently, the striker has increased his claims spectacularly. Now he asks the European champion approx 260 million euros. He justifies this amount by allegedly illegally converting his fixed-term contract into a permanent one.
He is also seeking damages for harassment (37.5 million euros), breach of contract (18.75 million euros) and breach of security obligations (18.75 million euros). Mbappé left PSG in the summer of 2024 after six years and 256 goals.
