Drone Incident in Moldova: Police Investigate Crash Site

Authorities in Moldova have confirmed that no injuries occurred after a military drone crashed and caught fire. The police department is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Specialists from the police’s explosives and technical expertise unit are on-site, gathering information and conducting examinations. Further details regarding the incident will be released following specialized evaluations, according to a police statement.
This incident is reminiscent of a similar event that occurred on July 13, when the Moldovan Ministry of Defense identified a kamikaze drone from the aggressor state, Russia, known as the “Geran-2.”
