Dinamo Bucharest Confirms Transfer of Dario Benavides as Maxime Sivis Leaves for Russia

Andrei Nicolescu, the president of Dinamo Bucharest, has confirmed the departure of Maxime Sivis to a Russian club and the signing of Dario Benavides as his replacement. Sivis, 28, will be leaving Dinamo for approximately €750,000 from FK Orenburg.
Sivis has played for the red-and-white team for two years, making 71 appearances in total. In a swift move, Dinamo secured his replacement. Dario Benavides, 23, has arrived in Romania, completed his medical check, and is set to be the new right-back for the club. He was transferred from RAAL La Louviere, which finished 15th in the Belgian top league last season.
Dinamo Bucharest Announces Transfer Details
Nicolescu stated, “We have an agreement with a club from Russia for Sivis; the transfer is 95% complete, pending his medical examination. We also took into account the player’s wishes for this transfer. If he did not want to leave, we couldn’t proceed. Financial context likely played a role. The amount is around €750,000, though it may not be exactly that.”
Benavides is already in Bucharest and has completed his medical examination at the Săftica training facility. Nicolescu added, “Benavides is a Spanish player, 23 years old, who last played in Belgium’s top division. He is a product of Sevilla, though he did not have significant playing time there, making just a La Liga debut.”
Benavides is valued at €400,000 on Transfermarkt and played 20 matches in the Jupiler Pro League last season. Having appeared three times for Sevilla, he boasts one La Liga appearance and two in the Copa del Rey.
