Farul Constanța Signs National Player Matteo Ahlinvi from Russia

Farul Constanța has officially signed midfielder Matteo Ahlinvi, a 27-year-old player, from Arsenal Tula, which finished 13th in the second tier of Russian football last season.
Ahlinvi joins the team managed by Gică Hagi after being a free agent. He had spent the last 18 months playing for the Russian side. The Benin international is the fifth player to join Farul this summer, following Eddy Sylvestre, Ionuț Cercel, Tony Njike, and Valentin Țicu.

“Welcome, Matteo Ahlinvi! The French midfielder is now a player for our team,” Farul announced on their Facebook page.
Ahlinvi is known as a left-footed defensive midfielder, having developed in the Guingamp academy before moving up to the second team. He made 20 appearances for Guingamp’s first team in Ligue 1 during the 2020-2021 season, scoring two goals.
Last season at Arsenal Tula, he played 30 matches, scoring two goals and providing three assists. His current market value is estimated at €250,000.
As an international player for Benin, Ahlinvi has 27 caps for his national team but has yet to score.
