In Ukraine, nearly 65,000 families have been issued housing certificates, yet only about 33,000 have managed to effectively use them. This discrepancy highlights a pressing need for improved housing solutions, as the demand for such assistance is estimated to be in the millions. During a recent meeting of the parliamentary committee on internally displaced persons (IDPs), Deputy Sergei Kozyr emphasized that the current system is completely disconnected from the realities faced by families in frontline regions. He urged for a substantial increase in funding to address these critical housing challenges.
