A man armed with a knife launched an attack on military personnel in Kharkiv, leading to the death of one soldier and leaving another seriously injured. The incident occurred when the senior officer identified himself to the assailant, who then attacked him and other soldiers with the weapon. The injured soldier was hospitalized, but unfortunately, the second soldier succumbed to multiple stab wounds. Following the attack, the perpetrator fled the scene and is currently wanted by law enforcement authorities.
