Concerns have been raised regarding the absence of funding for healthcare in the 2027-2029 Budget Declaration. Professor Golubovska stated, “There is nothing in the presentation regarding the development of healthcare.” She expressed that it seems the Ministry of Health (MOH) has lost its influence in the budgetary process. Professor Golubovska also questioned the future financing of the Medical Guarantees Program and whether there will be a review of the National Health Service’s tariffs. She called on the MOH and Minister Lyashko to clarify the strategy for healthcare development and how the ministry plans to advocate for funding in the sector.
