Kharkiv Revives ‘Person of the Year’ Ceremony After Five-Year Hiatus

After a five-year break, the ‘Person of the Year’ ceremony has resumed in Kharkiv. This year’s nominees included individuals who contribute daily to the protection of the city and the nation, such as military personnel, representatives of the defense industry, volunteers, philanthropists, public figures, and Heroes of Ukraine. The ceremony took place among those whose hard work, bravery, and dedication help bring about victory, support the military, and assist Ukraine during its most challenging times. Awards were also presented to notable volunteers, including Yuriy Hordiyenko and Mykola Udyanskyi, who took responsibility for evacuating children and the elderly from combat zones.
