Zelensky Gives Lukashenko a Week to Act
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has issued a one-week ultimatum to Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko to address military concerns along the Ukrainian border. Zelensky stated, “I do not take offense at Lukashenko’s words, but there is equipment along the border regions with Ukraine that is directing fire at Ukrainian civilians. Is one week enough to remove or deactivate it? If not, we will take action ourselves.” This statement underscores ongoing tensions in the region and the potential for further escalation if the situation is not resolved.
