UK to Supply Ukraine with 150,000 Drones as Part of $996 Million Military Aid Package

The United Kingdom has announced it will deliver 150,000 drones to Ukraine by the end of 2026. This decision is part of a significant military aid package worth £752 million (approximately $996 million), revealed on Thursday by Defense Minister Dan Jarvis during the Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting held in Brussels.

The package is financed through a £2.26 billion loan extended to Ukraine by the UK and also includes 350 anti-aircraft missiles and ground radar systems, according to reports from Reuters.

This loan is secured against revenues generated from frozen Russian sovereign assets.

During the meeting, Jarvis, who co-chaired the event with his German counterpart, engaged with U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and other defense ministers from France and Ukraine.
