Russians have the right to take leave at their own expense to prepare for the wedding. The Ministry of Labor reported this.
An employee can take up to 5 calendar days of rest. The employer does not have the right to refuse to provide such leave. The department recalled that the wedding season traditionally begins in summer, so future newlyweds can submit a written application at work in advance.
Days of rest due to a wedding are not deducted from or affect annual paid leave. Even those who have recently gotten a job have the right to such leave.
You can take a few days at your own expense during the probationary period. However, in this case, the test will be extended by the number of days of absence from work.
