Shocking discovery in a hotel in Cluj-Napoca: a 45-year-old tourist was found dead in the room
A 45-year-old woman, a foreign citizen on a tourist visit in Cluj-Napoca, was found dead in a hotel room in the city. The police have opened a criminal case for manslaughter, going to establish the exact circumstances of the death.

According to the Cluj County Police Inspectorate, the incident was reported on Sunday, June 15, at around 12:55 p.m., by the manager of the hotel unit, who announced that a person staying there was no longer showing vital signs.
“The police officers dispatched to the scene found that the reports were confirmed, a 45-year-old woman, a foreign citizen, was identified. From the preliminary checks, no visible traces of violence were identified on her body“, the IPJ Cluj representatives sent.
The lifeless body was transported to the Cluj-Napoca Institute of Forensic Medicine, where an autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death.
Investigations are being continued by the police, under the coordination of the competent prosecutor's office, in a criminal file opened under the aspect of manslaughter.
