In the Kirovsky district of Krasnoyarsk, 33 unauthorized landfills have been liquidated since the beginning of 2026. This was reported to the city administration.

The total volume of garbage removed exceeded 2 thousand cubic meters. This is approximately 92 KamAZ wastes. A contract worth 19.8 million rubles was signed this year to eliminate illegal dumps in the region.

Among the items removed were household and bulky waste, branches and construction waste. The most problematic areas were the area near the Zlobino cemetery, as well as Kutuzova, Kommunalnaya, Novaya, Montazhnikov and Gruntovaya streets. From there, the contractor removed 1,900 cubic meters of garbage. Most often, landfills appear in the private sector, industrial zones and next to garages.

One of the most difficult territories remains the Kuznetsovskoe plateau with an area of more than 9 hectares. There are many field roads, which makes it difficult to control the area. The district administration, together with the police and the Ministry of Emergency Situations, conducts raids and blocks access roads to places of illegal waste storage. The day before, more than 20 landfills with a total volume of over 3 thousand cubic meters were identified on the Kuznetsovsky Plateau. They are planned to be removed by the end of 2026.

“I ask the residents of our area not to remain on the sidelines in solving the problem of spontaneous waste disposal. It is important to report such facts, record vehicle license plates and transmit information to the district administration,” said Evgeny Burmistrov, head of the Kirovsky district administration.

The administration reminded that garbage is removed only from municipal lands or territories where ownership is not demarcated. The owner is responsible for privately owned plots.

You can report illegal dumps to the administrative commission of the Kirov region, the police, through the virtual reception on the website of the Krasnoyarsk administration or the portal “We decide together.” For violating waste management rules and creating unauthorized landfills, citizens face a fine of up to 5 thousand rubles, legal entities up to 400 thousand rubles.
