US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky will attend the G7 summit in France next week. Euractiv reported this on June 13, citing a senior US administration official.
According to the interlocutor, Trump will join the session of the G7 leaders, which will also be attended by Zelensky.
The issue of Ukraine is planned to be discussed separately at the first working session of the summit.
The summit will take place June 15-17 in Evian and will begin with a leaders' dinner. European countries, as noted by the media, plan to agree on a common position on supporting Ukraine, in particular against the background of different approaches of the allies to military assistance and the negotiation process.
According to Politico, Trump will attend an official dinner with French President Emmanuel Macron at Versailles during his visit to France after the G7 summit. Earlier, Macron invited Trump to a one-on-one dinner at the end of the summit.
Trump's program also includes meetings with the leaders of Egypt, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and India.
Separately, it is reported that during the summit they will discuss Ukraine, Iran, the economy, security of supplies, migration and artificial intelligence.
