The newspaper “Birobidzhan Star” reported on June 14, 1961 that a Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR was issued on awarding leaders in the production of non-ferrous metallurgy. Among them are employees of the Khinganolovo plant: cable-percussion drilling machine operator Ivan Vasilyevich Gritsan; quarry manager Fedor Mikhailovich Dedkov; electrician of the processing plant Ivan Nikolaevich Kapishnikov; concentrator Tatyana Ilyinichna Barsukova. The awardees were honored in the mining workshop and processing plant.

The newspaper of the Obluchensky district “Iskra Khingan” (12+) on June 14, 1969 talks on its pages about the work of the dispensary of the Khinganolovo plant. The dispensary began operating in May 1958. The dispensary has a spacious physiotherapy room, which is equipped with the latest medical equipment and equipped offices. On the ground floor there is a spacious hall, billiards, on the second there is a small recreation area. The plant annually spends more than 22 thousand rubles on the maintenance of its dispensary. During the work of the dispensary, about three and a half thousand people improved their health.

Birofeldskaya and Krasivenskaya rural administrative-territorial units were reorganized into the Birofeldskaya administrative-territorial unit consisting of the villages of Birofeld, Alekseevka, Opytnoe Pole, Krasivoye, Dimitrovo.
