Blackmail by leaking erotic photographs of a 23-year-old girl led a Muscovite to the security forces
A 26-year-old young man decided that blackmailing a girl over the Internet was a good idea. He found and downloaded her intimate photos on the Internet, after which he contacted her via messenger. The man demanded almost 4 million rubles from her in order to “remove those very photos from the site.”
The girl agreed to transfer money to him. But the erotic photographs remained on the site after payment: in fact, the blackmailer did not have access to it.
The girl couldn’t stand this, so she wrote a statement to the police. The fraudster was placed face down on the floor in his own apartment. He had previously been convicted of a similar crime.
