The cost of restoration of the Krasnoyarsk fountain “River Siberia” became known

In Krasnoyarsk, they are looking for a contractor who will be engaged in the restoration of the Siberian River Fountain on Theater Square.

The initial cost of the auction is 174.24 million rubles. It is planned to complete the work by the end of August 2026.

Judging by the design documentation, the fountain will be restored in the form close to the fact that in 2005, Arrang Demirkhanov designed. The bowls of the fountain will go down the steps from the upper to the lower tier of theatrical square. In the center of the composition, there will be a sitting figure of the Yenisei, and images of small rivers presented in the form of women will be arranged around.

The fountain will be finished with gray polished granite. The water will be pumped 18 pumps, supplying them into 43 fountain nozzles. 135 underwater LED lamps will be responsible for the backlight. A transparent ball will be installed on the upper step.

Recall that the fountain of the Siberian River was opened in Krasnoyarsk in 2005. At first it was turned on without sculptures. They were installed a year later, repeating the opening ceremony. In 2022, the Siberian Rivers were recognized as emergency and stopped operating. In 2023, sculptures were dismantled and sent for temporary storage. Under the area, an underground parking was built. At the moment, public space is restored after the end of work.
