In Abakan, investigators opened two criminal cases after electric scooters hit children. This was reported to the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Republic of Khakassia.

The materials were checked after monitoring the media and social networks. According to the investigation, on the evening of June 7, on the square near the sports complex named after N. G. Bulakin, a girl on an electric scooter hit a 10-year-old boy. The child received bruises.

Another incident occurred on the evening of June 8 on Severny Passage. There, an unidentified electric scooter driver hit a 3-year-old girl. The injured children were provided with the necessary medical care.

Criminal cases were opened under an article on violation of rules ensuring the safe operation of transport. Investigators are now establishing the identities and whereabouts of the people who were driving the electric scooters.
