The European Union claims that it has confirmed the facts of training of military personnel of the aggressor country of the Russian Federation on Chinese territory to participate in the war against Ukraine. Suspilna reported this on June 12 with reference to a high-ranking EU official.
According to him, European services recorded the training of the Russian military in several places in the PRC. We are talking about hundreds of people, some of whom could subsequently be sent to the front in Ukraine.
The EU recalled that these data contradict the official position of Beijing, which denies any participation in the training of the Russian occupation forces and declares its alleged neutrality regarding the Russian-Ukrainian war.
Brussels also reported that issues of relations with China, in particular the dependence of the European defense industry on Chinese supplies, are planned to be discussed at a meeting of EU foreign ministers in Luxembourg.
“They will discuss relations between the EU and China, where, obviously, foreign ministers will focus more on issues of foreign and defense policy, as well as on the problems of dependence of the defense industry on China or the supply chains of our defense industry. And depending on Chinese economic players. We expect a discussion of our collective interests in a potential crisis in the Far East region,” the interlocutor explained.
