Unprecedented censorship! The Romanian Handball Federation restrains the public's right to information and imposes clear rules in the Romanian press

The Romanian Handball Federation has announced the organization of the annual general meeting, which will take place on April 28, 2025. In the message transmitted to the press, the forum led by President Constantin from trying to control the present media, to restrain his freedom of expression and to block the transparent report in real time.
The Romanian press is placed again at the corner and is clearly blocked to carry out the specific activities of gathering and transmitting information of public interest through media channels.
The Romanian Handball Federation, in organizing the annual general meeting, sent a set of rules for journalists to be accredited, Rules that are worrying for any transparency approach, representing an attempt to limit the freedom of the press and the public to have access to correct and complete information.

The Federation led by Constantin Din, the president of the Romanian Handball Federation, sent a set of rules for the accredited press, all under the message “What is not allowed”:
- Filming during work except for a minute required to edit news
- Live (Live-Streaming, Live-Text) transmission of domestic work
- Publishing confidential or non -transparent information before being validated by official channels
- Direct interaction with members of the General Assembly during the meeting
- Audio or video recording of the meeting without the express agreement of the organizer
- Access to the work area of delegates or members of voting rights
- Addressing questions during the meeting
We are talking about a form of message control that the officials of the Romanian Handball Federation want to convey, in which only what is convenient or directed will be shown and filmed by the press.
Moreover, the prohibition of real -time story and the conditioning of publishing the information “before being validated through official channels” represents a form of clear censorship.
