“Metrofan” appeared on the screen
With the start of the collection, viewers were presented with a new tool for tracking donations and supporters' activities. In the program they were called “metrofan”.
The program's host, Monika Borkowska, explained how the chart worked.
– Up here, the values in green are the number of people who support us at the moment. I am very happy and thank you very much, because I see that at 14:00, that is, when the “Political Battle” began, I told you about this tool for the first time and asked for support, the green line rose significantly. Thank you very much for this. This blue line is the state of support from yesterday, so you can see that we are currently well above the average from yesterday she said.

An appeal to support the station
During the program, the host encouraged viewers to continue supporting the station financially, arguing that it is important for the functioning of independent media.
— I think that there is no need to explain these arguments to you again as to why we need to be supported. Because you know perfectly well that freedom of speech is a key issue today – she said.
Later in her statement, Borkowska argued that the number of people supporting the station is also a signal sent to political opponents.
— It's also about showing the crypto-dictatorship that there are many of us, that there are actually a lot of supporters behind Telewizja Republika who will not allow it to clip the wings of freedom of speech. The point is that when the cryptodictatorship sits in front of the TV today and watches, for example, this program, the cryptodictatorship now sees how many people support us. And this is a very clear signal sent to the crypto-dictatorship: stay away from the Republic, stay away from journalists, she said.
