In Achinsk, an 18-year-old student of a trade and economic college will appear in court. She is accused of helping telephone scammers. The prosecutor's office of the Krasnoyarsk region reported this.

According to investigators, in January the girl was looking for quick money on the Internet and found an ad on TikTok. After that, she followed the link in the messenger, where unknown people suggested that she use bank accounts opened in her name. The essence of the work was to receive money and transfer it further according to the specified details.

One February evening, the student performed such operations for several hours. The money arrived in her accounts and was almost immediately transferred to other recipients. According to investigators, the girl understood that she was participating in an illegal scheme and was helping scammers hide the movement of stolen money. She received 5 thousand rubles for her work.

The prosecutor approved the charge under the article on illegal transactions using electronic means of payment. The girl faces up to 3 years in prison.
