USR validates today, through Congress, the party's vote for Dominic Fritz to be the president of the political formation / after Congress, another important meeting

The USR Congress on Saturday, June 21, is more formal. The delegates of the party present at the event will validate the online vote by which Dominic Fritz was elected by 67.2% for the position of president of the party.

At the USR Congress on Saturday, which takes place from 10.00 in Bucharest, the National Arbitration Commission and the National Commission of Censors, which are part of the national management structure, will be chosen.

At the USR Congress, President Dominic Fritz will present the party's political strategy for the next period, in the context in which the procedures for the investment of a new government are in full swing, after Friday President Nicușor Dan at the appointed prime minister Ilie Bolojan.

Important meeting at USR and in the second part of the day

After the Congress, the Politc Committee of the USR has a hybrid, online and physical meeting, from 3:20 pm, in the context of the discussions for the formation of the Government. The meeting is a necessary one because this forum approves “everything that means political strategy”.

“Given the recent political evolutions and the appointment of Ilie Bolojan as a prime minister, the president of the USR, Dominic Fritz, convenes the Political Committee,” a message said on Friday to USR members.

Initially, this meeting was scheduled to take place on Friday, from 4:00 pm, but due to the blockage caused in the discussions between Nicușor Dan and Ilie Bolojan, who postponed the prime minister's designation, the meeting was canceled.
