From 00:00 to 19:00 on March 2, a general forecast of adverse weather conditions (AMC) was announced in most settlements of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, said the region’s Minister of Ecology Vladimir Chasovitin.
According to the Central Siberian State Migration Service, the warning applies to urban and rural settlements in the region, including Krasnoyarsk, with the exception of the Turukhansk region.
“In accordance with the updated requirements, all organizations, except those located in the Turukhansky district, are required to reduce emissions into the atmosphere by at least 20%,” explained Vladimir Chasovitin in his Telegram channel.
He also noted that the ministry is ready to advise enterprises so that the transition to an enhanced operating mode is effective.
Experts expect that businesses will show responsibility to improve the environmental situation during periods of adverse weather conditions.
