The agreements were signed by the regional Minister of Education Tatyana Gridasova, representatives of JSC SUEK Krasnoyarsk, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia, the state corporation Rosatom and the directors of regional technical schools. The new clusters were named “Digital Quarry”, “Specialist” and “Nuclear Space Center”. They will train personnel for the mining industry, law enforcement and the nuclear and space industry.
The “Digital Quarry” cluster includes the Krasnoyarsk College of Mining named after V. P. Astafiev and the Zelenogorsk College of Industrial Technologies and Services. Starting from the new academic year, 125 specialists will begin training there for the mining industry. Students will study open-pit mining, mineral processing and welding trades.

They plan to recruit 100 students in the areas of “Jurisprudence” and “Documentation support for management and archival science.” The training will be associated with practice and internships in the departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Main Directorate of the Federal Penitentiary Service.
The “Nuclear Space Center” will open on the basis of the Zheleznogorsk College of Innovative Industrial Technologies and Services. Among the partners of the new center are the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Mining and Chemical Combine” and JSC “Information Satellite Systems” named after Academician M. F. Reshetnev.”
From September 1, 125 students will begin studying in this cluster. They will master five popular areas, including installation of electronic equipment, welding, adjustment of instrumentation and automation, work on metalworking machines and mechanical engineering technology.
The project was developed on behalf of the regional governor Mikhail Kotyukov. Based on the results of the competition, 9 more clusters were identified in 2026 for training personnel in the real sector of the economy. From September 1, 1,350 students will study in 48 updated programs.
