“We cannot allow someone to use our social system on an increasing scale, for example without living in Poland at all, because we had such cases. If a Ukrainian woman lives in Poland, works or looks after a child, she is permanent here, we will continue to help her. But we will not tolerate the use of the Polish taxpayer's money by those who are up to” – announced Donald Tusk.

He pointed out that this postulate was the initiative of Rafał Trzaskowski. “Nobody will say that he (Trzaskowski) is anti -Ukrainian, nobody will say that he has some moods against other nationalities. He is a man who really knows what's going on” – said the head of government about the presidential candidate.

“It's a bit like with this Ukrainian grain. The first decisions of the Moravian government were: let's give everything. This concerned weapons for Ukraine and these social privileges for everyone. I didn't say a bad word about it then. It was the beginning of the war, we didn't know what would happen to Ukraine and what would happen to us. All of Europe wanted to help, but it was very quickly known that it would not go like that, that we cannot allow it, that Ukrainian grain would flood the Polish market, because it is a disaster for Polish farmers” – noted the prime minister.

In January, Prime Minister Tusk announced that “President Rafał Trzaskowski's proposal to pay 800+ only to those migrants, including Ukrainians who actually live, work and pay taxes in our country, will be urgently considered by the government.” The head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister Jan Grabiec reported that the Ministry of Interior and Administration was working on the project. “We won't wait with him,” said Grabiec.
