The US attacked Iran. Vance talks about the agreement. He indicated the date

In an interview with the American station CBS News, the politician stated that his country is close to ending talks that are economically beneficial for the Americans and at the same time closing the issue of Iran's nuclear ambitions in the long term. He noted, however, that the administration still has a lot of work to do. He also assured that the work would be carried out without interruption.
“I currently believe that we are in a situation where we can reach an agreement that is economically beneficial to the United States and actually solves the problem of the Iranian nuclear program: not only now, not only during Donald Trump's presidency, but in the long term, so that my children can one day say as adults: Iran will not have nuclear weapons,” Vance said.
Trump's deputy on the deadline for the agreement
The politician estimated that the end of the talks with Tehran may take place before the November by-elections to Congress, known as the so-called midterms. In his opinion, it should have been clear earlier in which direction the negotiations were heading. However, he did not rule out that the process would take longer.
— I think we will know a lot before the elections. “I think the deal could be concluded next week, but it could also be in a few months,” he said.
The vice president also commented on allegations that the Iranian side was deliberately playing for time and misleading the president. In his opinion, the local political system simply requires time to reach an internal compromise. Vance added that the administration is not basing these talks on trust, but on control mechanisms.
— I think their (political) system needs a lot of time to reach consensus. People keep asking me: 'Do you trust the Iranians?' And the president said: 'I don't trust anyone.' I don't trust anyone. But I have confidence in our own negotiating abilities, in our administration's ability to negotiate and in the control and enforcement mechanisms that we intend to put in place, Vance said.
Trump on the deal “in 2-3 days”
On the same day, the media reported that Donald Trump was talking about the possibility of concluding an agreement within 2 or 3 days. However, his optimistic tone contrasts with the tension that has been growing around the negotiations since the beginning of the war that began on February 28 this year. The conflict broke out against the backdrop of a dispute over the Iranian nuclear program, and closing it is to be a key element of the agreement.
CNN counted the announcements of the head of the American administration regarding a close agreement with the authorities in Tehran. Since the outbreak of the war on February 28 this year up to and including Monday, Trump had declared 37 times that a deal was close.
