In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the results of the regional stage of the All-Russian Computer All-Around Championship among older people were summed up. This was reported by the regional Ministry of Social Policy.
The competition was held online at comprehensive social service centers. Participants showed how they knew how to use a smartphone, email, social networks, search engines and banking services. Knowledge of basic financial terms was also tested.
The first places in three categories were taken by Irina Akishina from Krasnoyarsk, Sergey Dolgov from Zelenogorsk and Alexander Bukharov from the Shushensky district.
“When older people master new technologies, they not only stay in touch with loved ones, but also become an example for their children and grandchildren, demonstrating that you can learn and develop at any age,” noted Irina Pastukhova, Minister of Social Policy of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Prize-winners and laureates of the regional stage will receive diplomas and cash prizes.
This year more than 300 residents of the region took part in the competition. 70 people made it to the finals. The winners will represent the Krasnoyarsk region at the All-Russian final. It will take place in Ryazan from June 23 to 26.
The Krasnoyarsk Territory has been participating in the computer all-around championship among pensioners since 2013. Last year, the regional team took first place in the team competition in the Siberian Federal District.
