National Assessment in Romanian. Teacher: “Many students read the two supporting texts superficially, and this makes them solve the first requirements incorrectly”

A few days before the National Assessment, many students and parents wonder what can be done now, in the last hundred meters, for the best possible result. Emotions rise with each passing day, time seems insufficient to catch up on all the gaps, so a good strategy for these days can help students increase their chances of a good grade.

I talked with the Romanian language and literature teacher Corina Zorilă, from Secondary School no. 2 from Videle, Teleorman, about the most effective preparation strategies in the last few days, about the traps that students frequently fall into and how parents can be helpful during this period.

Beyond the material accumulated during the four years of secondary school, success in the National Assessment also depends on how students manage their time, energy and emotions in the period leading up to and during the exam.

In the interview below, teacher Corina Zorilă explains why smart simulations can bring more benefits than chaotic study, which contents are often underestimated and which are the myths about the exam that students should ignore.

All About Mothers: There is little time left until the National Assessment. If you had to tell your students three things to focus on this time and three things to stop wasting time on, what would they be?

There is little left until the exam and students should do these three things if they want good results in the assessment: get enough sleep, work three hours a day on Romanian language and three hours on mathematics, with breaks between subjects, and give simulations as often as possible to get used to the exam conditions.
