Poland does not interfere in decisions regarding the travel routes of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced this on June 9 at a press conference broadcast by his office’s YouTube channel.
This comment came amid reports that during a recent trip to London, Zelensky allegedly did not use the airport in Rzeszow, as he had previously, but flew through Chisinau.
At a press conference, the head of the Polish government was asked whether he associated the change in flight routes of the President of Ukraine with political factors, in particular with internal contradictions between Warsaw and Kiev.
According to Tusk, Zelensky sometimes uses different flight options, and Warsaw will not dictate which routes he should take.
“I will not tell him where and how he should fly. Well, Rzeszow was not closed,” Tusk said.
