After Asia Express and Survivor, Gabi Tamaș returns to the small screens! He will team up with Dan Alexa at the World Championship

In the new format “Fiertzi pe Mondial”, launched by Antena for the most important football competition on the planet, Tamaș and Alexa will be the protagonists of the show, which combines football analysis, heated reactions and key moments from the final tournament, in a relaxed and humorous style.

Gabi Tamaș and Dan Alexa team up again

The show will debut on June 12, 2026 and will be broadcast live on AntenaPLAY, immediately after the start of the World Championship hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico. Along with Gabi Tamaș and Dan Alexa, the show's team will also include Răzvan Simion, Dani Oțil, Cătălin Rizea and Florin Ristei.

According to the Antena press release, the format will combine football analysis, heated reactions and the most important moments from the World Cup, along with the humor and characteristic style of the presenters.

Gabriel Tamaș: “Every player wants to reach the World Championship”

The former defender of the national team spoke about the new project and the emotion of being involved in a competition that he was not able to experience as a player.

“And for me it is a pleasure to be part of this project, within the most anticipated competition in the whole world. Any player wants to reach the World Championship, I wanted to too, but I didn't make it. Instead, here we are now at Fiertzi on Mondial!

I expect to see a show and many surprises at this World Cup, and we, at Fiertzi, will come with a different comment on the World Cup, because after all, people want to hear the ins and outs of this sport!”, declared Gabi Tamaș.

Dan Alexa: “The World Championship is the ultimate competition”

For his part, Dan Alexa declared himself excited about the new challenge.

“Since June 12, we are live on AntenaPLAY, we are Fiertzi on Mondial and together we go through everything that has mattered in the last 24 hours: goals, phases, controversies, supporters, madness in the stands and the upcoming matches on Antena and on AntenaPLAY.
