Mihai Pintilii (41 years old), the former second coach from FCSB, spoke about the situation of Vlad Chiricheș (36 years old), a player who is reaching the end of his contract with the red-blue formation and with whom he will not extend. What's more, it seems that he made the decision to end his career, after a complicated season, in which he was injured for most of the time.
The FCSB centre-back played his last game in a 3-2 win over Farul on April 20, and due to medical issues the season ended early for him. Having fallen into the disgrace of boss Gigi Becali, the veteran will no longer continue with the group from the Capital.
At the beginning of this month, information appeared that Chiricheș would have wanted Mirel Rădoi in Turkey, in Gaziantep. However, it seems that he will not sign with another team, making the decision to retire at the age of 36.

“Today we sat together at the game. It's good, he's a bit like that… At first… It's hard, after you let go. He has to find a job.
Yes, I think so (not that he retired). If he's home… From what I know and what he told me, he won't continue. He would not leave Bucharest again. Where to go? Only in Bucharest if he is to play again. To go to the Volunteers? At his age, he can't walk anymore.
