In Krasnoyarsk, a local resident will appear in court, accused of stealing meat and caviar from a car. This was reported to the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
In early February, a resident of the regional center contacted the police. She said that meat products and caviar worth more than 31 thousand rubles disappeared from her car. The car was parked near a retail outlet next to a store on Telman Street. Due to the frost, they could not start the car and left it there. When the woman arrived at work, she saw a broken rear window and discovered that part of the goods was missing.
The police have identified a suspect. He turned out to be a Krasnoyarsk resident who had previously been repeatedly convicted of property crimes. According to investigators, the man sold the stolen meat for 2,800 rubles. He couldn’t cook it himself because his stove didn’t work. The accused kept the caviar for himself.
The victim's damages were fully compensated. The criminal investigation has been completed. The man was given a preventive measure in the form of a written undertaking not to leave the place and proper behavior.
