In the Leninsky district of Krasnoyarsk, a 15-year-old teenager on a pit bike received serious injuries in an accident. This was reported to the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
The accident occurred the night before on Shevchenko Street. According to preliminary data, the 34-year-old Honda driver was turning left and collided with a pit bike that was traveling in the opposite direction.
A 15-year-old teenager was driving the pit bike. After the accident he was hospitalized.
The father of the minor told traffic police inspectors that his son bought a pit bike himself with saved money. The vehicle was stored in a garage, and the keys were freely available. On the day of the accident, the teenager took the keys without his father’s knowledge and went for a drive.
The police are checking. The issue of bringing the legal representatives of the teenager to administrative responsibility for improper performance of duties for the upbringing and maintenance of the child will also be resolved.
The pit bike was placed in a special parking lot.
The State Traffic Inspectorate reminds parents that the pit bike is not intended for riding on public roads. Police ask adults to control children's leisure time and access to motorcycles.
