Krasnoyarsk will pay 800 thousand rubles to the sister of the woman who was killed by her father

A resident of Krasnoyarsk filed a lawsuit against the daughter of a man convicted of murdering her sister. The woman demanded 2 million rubles in compensation for moral damage, the joint press service of the courts of the Krasnoyarsk Territory said.

The Krasnoyarsk resident explained that her deceased sister was the closest person to her and practically replaced her mother. After the woman’s death, she experiences “severe moral suffering” and received severe mental trauma. It is especially difficult, she said, to experience the loss after she learned the circumstances of her sister’s death and how long her body remained without burial.

The man convicted of murder had already died, so the claim for compensation was transferred to her as the first-degree heir. She practically did not communicate with her father during her lifetime, since he was a “rude man.”

The girl admitted the claim partially and asked to reduce the amount. The Sverdlovsk District Court considered the demands justified. The defendant was charged 800 thousand rubles – within the value of the inherited property transferred to her.
