The last session of the Legislative Assembly of the year took place in Krasnoyarsk. The Speaker of Parliament summed up the political results of 2025.

The session considered 56 issues, including more than 40 draft laws in the first and second readings, and a number of resolutions. In total, since the beginning of the year, deputies have considered 463 issues. 250 draft laws of the region were submitted to parliament, 190 laws of the region, more than 700 resolutions were adopted, 600 draft federal laws were considered, more than 180 meetings of committees and sections of the Coordination Council were held, including visiting ones. Deputies reviewed more than 2,300 appeals.

At the end of the year, a photo exhibition was updated in the foyer of the regional parliament – the annual educational project of the Legislative Assembly. This year it is dedicated to rare animals. 30 years ago, deputies of the regional parliament supported the law that established the Red Book of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Alexey Dodatko noted that the work during the year was quite intense. The main transformations took place in two areas – public finance management and changes in municipal governance.

“The regional budget is built largely on a programmatic basis, most of it consists of expenses packaged in state programs, but the approach to the implementation of these programs in 2025 has changed significantly. Together with the regional government, and with the executive branch in general, we have done a lot of work to bring our regional state programs into line with national goals and priorities. This is important because the president of the country has formulated the basic objectives of Russia’s development strategy. And they should be embroidered in such a regional aspect,” noted Alexey Dodatko.

Among the most important tasks, the speaker named demography, the Personnel project and import substitution.

Transformations in the municipal government system have not yet been completed. Consideration of issues related to them is still ongoing.

“The challenge that we hold as the focal point for all our decisions is that local authorities must have the necessary resources to resolve the issues that are assigned to them. These should not be powers without real reinforcement: financial, personnel, organizational. This is a lot of work, which has caused a discussion in society and the need to attract experts and representatives of local government to develop the best possible solution,” recalled Alexey Dodatko.
